Dan Ross
Dan’s Med-Vision role allows him to help employers organize, integrate and centralize data intelligence to build comprehensive measurements for health and financial outcomes. Med-Vision provides plan specific, actionable, health plan data utilizing predictive risk modeling, quality gap compliance, and corresponding wellness strategies. Dan’s career includes consulting for Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH) and sales and management roles for CIGNA Group Insurance.
Gavin Hale joined Med-Vision in 2010 as an Executive Consultant. Gavin is focused on serving the needs self-funded employers. He conducts tireless research and regularly communicates with current and future clients to ensure Med-Vision's array of services remain on the leading edge. As an executive consultant, Gavin works with Med-Vision's team to implement strategies for spreading awareness of Med-Vision's data-driven solutions, health plan risk management services, and customized wellness strategies. He is articulate in explaining how these services translate into improved quality of employee care and optimal productivity for employer groups. Prior to joining Med-Vision, Gavin provided business development strategies for several large organizations. In addition to his corporate experience, Gavin's resume includes major movie roles between 1997 and 2010. He served as a body double for Liam Neeson in "The Other Man" and "The Haunting." Among his other credits: Star Wars the "Phantom Menace," Harry Potter "The Deathly Hallows," as well as "Band of Brothers," directed Tom Hanks. All films were made in Gavin's native country of Great Britain. Most recently, Gavin has worked on the "Sherlock Holmes" sequel. Gavin earned a National Diploma in Sports Science and Management, and he went on to the University of Hertfordshire England to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture.
In January of 2012, Curtis was promoted to Chief Data Analyst to help oversee the 2012 launch of Med-Vision's proprietary health data analytics tool, Med-View, which provides employers a clear view of healthcare costs. Curtis spends his days, and sometimes nights, directing the analytics team in investigating data to determine current trends. Their goal is to assist in targeted outreach, reverse cost increases, and inform clients of potential issues. These actions correspond with Med-Vision's customized wellness programs and disease management programs for improving overall health of a population and individuals. As a Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager (CWWPM), Curtis also works directly with onsite wellness leaders to identify care gaps and develop strategic plans. His wellness expertise helps him to provide claims-data-driven support for programming and statistical tracking of programs to determine impact. Prior to joining Med-Vision, Curtis earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a Specialization in Exercise Science from the University of South Florida. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and worked as a computer teacher while earning his degree. His college years also included an internship at Tampa General Hospital's Employee Wellness Department, during which he helped design, implement, and monitor exercise and wellness activities. For more than 15 years, Scott M. Doherty has helped employer-clients control their employee healthcare costs with an important focus on Quality of Care Metrics (QOC) and wellness. His role with Med-Vision is to help empower employers with a detailed investigation of how healthcare dollars are being spent, much like a detective investigating a crime scene. Through the selection, integration and implementation of multiple cost-reduction strategies, Med-Vision provides measurable ROI and multiple pathways to price transparency, cost reduction, and improved employee outcomes and health. In addition to his role with Med-Vision, Scott serves as president of The Doherty Agency, which he launched in October 2007 after two years with Keyser Insurance Group in Kalamazoo, and the five years prior with Advantage Benefits Group, a Grand Rapids based Employee Benefits firm. Before becoming an Employee Benefits Consultant and Advisor, he spent three years with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, as an Account Manager. Scott also has 25 years of cumulative, comprehensive investment and qualified plan experience which includes institutional investment and cash management, retail brokerage, and retirement plan communications and participant education. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Scott also has a long list of certifications, including: Certified Health Consultant (Blue Cross Blue Shield Association), Registered Health Underwriter (American College), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (American College), Licensed Insurance Agent (Life and Health), Licensed Registered Representative - NASD Series 6,63, and Licensed Insurance Counselor (State of Michigan, Office of Finance and Insurance Services (OFIS).
